Tessa Stone is a self-made woman in the field of nuclear weaponry. Despite her high standing as owner of Stone Industries, she still directly deals with looking over the latest designs of nuclear arms for the benefit of the righteous West.

Due to her dedicated work ethic and love of late-night horror movies, Tessa struggles to get to sleep. Then again, she seems to be spending a lot of time unconscious (and thrown around) since the Chromobots entered her life.

Fiction

After a long day of looking over new designs, Tessa struggled to sleep, unable to shake the feeling that she was being watched. These suspicions were proven well-founded when the alien criminal Predator invaded her apartment and kidnapped her. Tessa's scream alerted Dudley, whose Chromobot ally Transmute shot to the roof of the building to confront Predator. The Chromobots issue 17 Tessa could only stare, marvelling at the near-human movements of the robots fighting in front of her. Just as Predator got the upper hand over Transmute, Mikros hit him with an optic blast. Tessa watched as Predator flung Mikros across the roof and turned back to her, telling her that her life would now be enriched in service to a greater cause – the destruction of Chromos Five and the domination of Earth! Issue 18 After throwing Mikros off the side of the building, Predator apparently teleported away with Tessa. Issue 19

Rather than a teleportation ability, Predator actually had a time modulator. He took Tessa into the future, where he used her knowledge to create a hybrid nuclear weapon, which he successfully used to destroy Chromos Five and wipe out all life on Earth. By the year 2535, Issue 25 Issue 23 Predator was the planet's new ruler and creator. Looking to show his enemies the real extent of his power, he returned the injured and unconscious body of Tessa back to 1985. Issue 25

After the Chromobots' first encounter with Predator, Shield reported to Cygnet of the Chromatic Star Federation that the Chromatic criminal had abducted Tessa. Issue 21 Following Cygnet's advice, the Chromobots tracked the unique signature of Predator's supposed teleportation to the countryside, where they found Tessa unconscious, wounded, and suffering the effects of a psionic attack. Before they could get her back to the ship to enact organic repairs, the Chromobots and Dudley were transported to the 26th Century, with Tessa nowhere to be seen. Issue 22 Shield and Transmute reasoned that she had been left as bait to lure them into the time shift. Issue 23

After Dudley swiped the time modulator, he and the Chromobots returned home, where Shield destroyed it, successfully trapping Predator in a folding-in timeline. Mikros reported that they hadn't been out of the 20th Century for long; Transmute had found Tessa where they'd left her, and there was still time to take care of her injuries. Issue 26
