In 1986, Marvel Comics saw fit to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. Every Marvel U.S. comic cover dated November that year shared a cover motif, featuring a headshot of a lead character from the book (and Menasor ) surrounded by a border starring an array of some of Marvel's most popular heroes. The border was first sketched out by John Romita Sr
[1] (though the final version changes the poses of some characters, and adds a handful of others).
Relevant to The Transformers is that U.S. issue 22 featured the border, and a number of the characters depicted can be found here on The Transformers UK Appendix.
