Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four is a superhero team. On an outer space adventure, they got hit by cosmic rays, and they changed forever in some most fantastic ways.
Call the Four:
- Reed Richards is elastic
- Sue can fade from sight
- Johnny is the Human Torch
- The Thing just loves to fight
They may hold the claim to being the most famous foursome in the world, rivalled only by ABBA.
Fiction
Like most superheroes, the Fantastic Four were based in New York City, specifically a mid-Manhattan skyscraper called the Baxter Building. Their identities appeared to be public. Kill Me or Cure Me
According to Spider-Man, the technology of the Cybertronian craft the Ark 
would make the Fantastic Four's brilliant leader, Reed Richards, feel like a kid at his first science fair. Prisoner of War!
The Four's scientific knowledge and resources were well renowned. Dr. Voletta Todd of the Alternative Resources Centre sought the help of the Fantastic Four when her research into clean energy turned her into a monstrous being of ionised hydrogen. Unfortunately, her visit coincided with the absence of the Fantastic Four's top brains, so she instead had to do battle with the Human Torch and the Thing. Machine Man, who was pursuing Dr. Todd, also fought the two heroes, causing enough chaos to allow Todd to escape.
The Fantastic Four reunited some time later at the nearby Quality Meat Market, where Machine Man had stabilised and subdued Todd using the temperature of the meat locker, leaving precise instructions on how to keep her cyrogenically preserved while the Four could develop a cure. While going along with Machine Man's advice, the Thing nonetheless promised to give him a few bruises the next time they met. Kill Me or Cure Me
