Mayhem Maker Repairs, Inc. is an accredited maintenance service for Mayhem Makers. They appear to operate intergalactically.
Fiction
Vermin the Vile, usurper monarch of Gorkel, made use of a Mayhem Maker. Too Close (Enough) for Comfort It apparently frequently acted up; after he trapped the invading Planet Terry and friends in a bubble cell, Vermin discovered that at least the surveillance function of the Mayhem Maker was on the blink, and he planned to call the repairman. The repairman arrived and got to work in the amount of time it took Terry and Omnus to grease up Robota. He diagnosed the Mayhem Maker with problems so severe that it had to go back to the shop, something Vermin's vulture familiar Scavage called a bad omen. Not long thereafter, the Mayhem Maker rumbled and smoked, which the repairman recognised as a sign it was going to explode. The ensuing blast destroyed the entire Domed City; Vermin and Scavage were seen to escape, but the repairman was not. The Doom of the Domed City
Notes
- The repairman doesn't have the pointy ears characteristic of Vermin the Vile's species, and he's evidently not a Gorkel, so we can only assume he's a human or another species not native to Gorkel. From this, we can extrapolate that the Mayhem Maker itself is not of Gorkel origin, and that the repairman arrived on Gorkel really fast.
