After Dr Voletta Todd accidentally started a fire at the Alternative Resources Centre, the FDNY arrived to put out the blaze. Also on scene was Delmar Insurance investigator Aaron Stack, who asked a firefighter for a situation report and was told that people may still be trapped in the building. As the firefighter got back to work, Aaron returned in his superhero identity of Machine Man, and used his in-built flame resistance to search the building for people. Kill Me or Cure Me
