Bear was patronising Molly's, a pub that frequently served underworld figures, when a man walked in wearing a full Mike Hammer getup. Believing him to be from Hollywood and scouting locations for a movie, Bear approached the man with dreams of becoming an extra. Introducing himself and boasting about his connections, Bear learned that what the man was looking for was an extending arm; when the man demonstrated by elongating his own metallic wrist, Bear fainted.

Bear's friend Gorelick then tried to mash the man with a chair, an action that, in short order, dominoed into a full-blown bar fight. Arms and the Robot!
