Vice-Admiral Cole

Vice-Admiral Cole is a big nob in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Fiction

After the experimental submarine Squalus sank on the 23rd of May, 1939, Cole gave the order to deploy Falcon, along with Commander McCann and his diving bell.

Squalus' sister ship Sculpin was already at sea, and it found the distress buoy first. On hearing the news, Vice-Admiral Cole informed a fellow officer that he would be joining the rescue operation aboard Penacook. Trapped Beneath the Waves!
