The King strikes out.
Synopsis
The King addresses a crowd of new robots ahead of their invasion of Planet Kringe, telling them that, thanks to their newly-installed logic circuits, they can now act independently without waiting for commands, making them more efficient on the battlefield. Unfortunately, they're too independent, as the King finds out when they declare a strike.

Continuity notes
- The King has a rotating set of headpieces in these early strips – today's is a TV antenna.
Real-life references
- Strike action is perennial – but this strip might be inspired by the miners' strike, a major industrial action that lasted just shy of twelve months.
