The Gorkels cheered when Terry and friends returned with Princess Ugly, though the Wise One was certain of their success as it had been written in the book. The Wise One informed Terry that his ship had been repaired, and the boy prepared to rejoin the search for his parents and their ship, the ''[[Space Warp]]''. The Wise One was so shocked by this that he dropped his precious book — the wreck of the ''Space Warp'' was nearby on Gorkel! {{storylink|The Doom of the Domed City}}
