After leaving the Chromobots' starship, {{storylink|The Transformers issue 13/The Chromobots|''The Chromobots'' issue 13}} Mikros' jet pack failed above suburban Britain. Spotting a house, he decided it was as good a place to park as any, and glided in through the window, where he met [[Dudley]]. {{storylink|The Transformers issue 12/The Chromobots|Issue 12}} Mikros apologised for the crash landing, and introduced himself to the sputtering comic geek. Dudley had to conceal him from the being known as "[[Dudley's dad|Dad]]" before grilling Mikros on where he'd come from. Mikros' biggest concern was finding the other Chromobots. {{storylink|The Transformers issue 13/The Chromobots|Issue 13}}
The following day – a Saturday – Dudley went for a walk through the park with Mikros concealed in a carrier bag. Mikros detected a strong signal from his fellow Chromobots, and encouraged Dudley that when they rendezvoused, he ditch the embarrassing shopping bag.
