Transmute's psionic scan picked up a signal, which he and Shield discovered was the unconscious body of the abducted woman. When Mikros was thrown through the air and landed in a damaged heap, Shield deduced that they weren't alone in the wasteland. Mikros's assailant was a monstrous [[brute]], but when you attack one of the Chromobots, you have to face them all, and Shield gave the creature a seeing to. The brute wasn't the only [[Chromatic Mutant|Mutant]] in the wasteland, as the Chromobots were soon taken on by Predator's other creations, [[Rage]] and [[Menace]]. Dudley thought quickly and snatched Predator's [[time modulator]]. As the boy ran back to the time shift, Shield and the other Chromobots held off the Mutants. Dudley and Mikros were first to get back to 1985, and Shield and Transmute followed. Shield immediately destroyed the modulator with his force weapon, healing the time shifts and causing Predator's future to fold in on itself.
