Khan

Thank your deities that you are beneath the notice of the man known only as Khan. This self-styled crime lord has a finger in every pie, even though few are aware he even exists. His influence and intelligence are so great that even a verbal dressing-down is enough of a threat to make a mobster shudder.

Sequestered on the fortified airship Xanadu, Khan lives a life of hedonism, surrounded by dancing girls, food, and the finer things in life. Khan does as he pleases, and what Khan wants, he always gets.

Fiction

As soon as Khan became aware of Machine Man, he created an earthquake in an attempt to destroy him. It failed, so Khan moved on to more important concerns.

Days later, while Khan was cutting Mr Gianelli out of the profits of his own territory, he was accosted by the Binary Bug, who was targeting Delmar Insurance's highest-valued clients. In what he considered an amazing coincidence, he was rescued by Machine Man. As the Binary Bug made his escape, he considered how, despite not taking any action, Khan had held the upper hand in their confrontation.

Afterwards, Khan told Gianelli that Machine Man's fate seemed to be intertwined with his own. He declared his intent that Machine Man would serve his will. Byte of the Binary Bug!

• You'll see online the mistaken belief that Khan is actually named "Kublai Khan", despite the narration in "Byte of the Binary Bug!" reading "If he had a first name, it was long ago forgotten."
