Machine Man was a corked up bottle of rage when he came across an armed robber. Both of their days got worse from there.

Fiction

While stopping a series of unrelated crimes in the Bowery, Machine Man followed the sound of .22 calibre gunshots to find a man who had been shot, his son, and a gunman fleeing the scene with cash. His anger boiling, Machine Man was ready to punish the gunner, and he ripped a chain link fence from its posts and used it to shock the retreating man with a thousand volts. Aaron rose to the air in anguish, releasing a wave of electrical energy.

Returning to street level, Machine Man helped the victim by removing the bullets using a magnetic current. When he saw the gunman reviving again, however, he once again turned violent, threatening to dismember him, and was only whipped further into a frenzy when the gunner warned that he would call the police. On the verge of killing him, Aaron was stopped by a glowing group of evolved humans. Where Walk the Gods!
