Barry Windsor-Smith (born 25th May, 1949) is a British-born comic book writer, artist, colourist, and letterer. After getting his foot in the door at Marvel U.S., he became known for being the original penciller on Conan the Barbarian, 
and for introducing a Romantic illustrative style to American comics. In the 90s, he became the creative director and lead artist for Valiant Comics.
