Fiction
Planet Terry had an aqua-analyzer. He used it on Gorkel, when he, Robota, and Omnus came across a placid stream shortly after more dangerous hazards like the terror vines and a spontaneous volcano. The aqua-analyer vocally reported that the stream was two feet deep, calm, and contained no hostile life forms. However, while they were fording the stream, Vermin the Vile used his Mayhem Maker to turn into a whirlpool. Too Close (Enough) for Comfort
