Synopsis
Matt and Humph step back from roughing up the Slavebot, Olia-cym, and the boy tells him that he's to be their ticket out of there. Realising the robot is still seeing stars, they give him a bit of space, and are surprised when Olia-cym tells them that he's only bringing them some food.
A rumble sounds throughout the ship – and it's not, as Humph surmises, his empty stomach. Olia-cym informs Matt that this means the ship is beginning to land on Darkon, where the slaver will sell the two Earthlings to the leading buyers, potentially splitting the boy and his cat to different corners of the galaxy!

Matt apologises, having never expected to meet a friendly type of robot, but Humph's full focus is on the cloche of food.
Humph laments his lot in life, between being kidnapped, missing posting his comic subscription, and now losing out on dinner. Tempting fate, he wonders what else can go wrong.
